Terms of Service

By registering for or using Balance, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.

Balance is a personal budgeting tool organized into Needs, Wants, and Savings, designed for the Chilean market. Balance helps you track and organize your financial movements — it is not a bank, does not move real money, is not a financial, banking, or investment advisor, and does not replace advice from a licensed professional.

Balance is currently in a closed trial phase. Access is invite-only and manually approved by the developer. During this phase, the service may change, be interrupted, or be discontinued without notice, and continuous availability is not guaranteed.

• You must be at least 18 years old to use Balance.
• Access is via a one-time code sent to your email — we don't use passwords. You're responsible for keeping access to your inbox.
• You're responsible for the accuracy of the information you enter.

You may not use Balance for unlawful purposes, attempt to compromise its security, access other users' data, or interfere with the normal operation of the service.

The movements, budget, and other information you enter belong to you. You grant us a limited license to process it solely to provide you the service, per our Privacy Policy. You can export your data or delete your account at any time from your Profile.

Balance is provided "as is" and "as available." The information, calculations, and suggestions it provides (including automatically suggested categories) are for reference only and do not constitute financial, accounting, tax, or investment advice. We don't guarantee the service will be error-free or uninterrupted.

To the extent permitted by law, Balance and its operator are not liable for financial decisions made based on the service's information, or for indirect damages arising from use or inability to use the app.

We may suspend or close your access, particularly during this trial phase, including for misuse. You can delete your account at any time from Profile → Delete account.

The "Balance" brand, its logo, and the app's code are property of its operator. These terms don't grant you any rights over them beyond using the service.

We may update these terms. We'll notify you of material changes by email or within the app.

These terms are governed by the laws of Chile.
